Storage solutions

Optimizing the balance between product performance, investment in equipment and operational cost.
We deliver type IV pressure vessels for storage of CNG, biogas and hydrogen at production sites, such as electrolysis at windmills or solar / biogas plants, as well as at consumption sites, such as industrial plants or filling stations.

UAC pressure vessels are delivered with plastic liner, stainless steel endbosses and composite structure, made of high-strength, lightweight fibreglass and epoxy resin. Non-toxic and non-corrosive properties of our pressure vessels benefit the lifetime of storage solutions by eliminating risk of galvanic oxidization. Weight savings, temperature tolerances, long-term design life and enhanced safety levels offered by glass fibre pressure vessels challenge alternative solutions in steel or other composite materials. Glass fiber pressure vessels are also a much more price competitive alternative, compared to carbon fiber cylinders.

Transport modules

Solving the safety vs. cost challenge.
UAC high-pressure CNG, biogas and hydrogen modules handle both the transportation from production to consumption, distribution from mother stations to fueling/daughter stations, storage of gases due to variance between production and consumption, and flare gas collection. UAC transportation solution is optimized for increased volume and additional safety. Our type IV fibre glass pressure vessels are much more robust, compared to traditional carbon fibre cylinders, and are fixed in an all-metal container for extra protection in case of a collision or an overturned vehicle.

Heave compensation accumulators

Reducing lifecycle cost, increasing safety.
We deliver fibreglass type IV pressure vessels for heave compensation systems for offshore cranes, winches, drill strings and riser systems for ultra-deepwater offshore drilling rigs and drillships. Our complete accumulator systems can be supplied with 2″ – 3″ isolation valves with an actuator. Manometer, pressure transmitters, block and bleed valve, dip tube and drain valve are also included in the heave compensation accumulator package.

UAC products for offshore applications can be delivered with DNV, ABS, BV and Lloyds Register class approvals.
