After a successful overseas passage the container battery system PowerBooster arrived at Kinshasa the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. From Kinshasa the transport continued towards the interior of the country with destination Vanga. The PowerBooster will there supply the mission of the Protestant religious community "Christustraeger Bruderschaft" and its hospital 24 hours a day with electricity.
The last 80 km on sandy tracks were challenging for the 15 tons storage transport. But after 24 hours, the truck arrived safely. On July 25, the battery system was housed in a small annexe next to the clinic. Meanwhile, the detailed installation is already in progress.
The PowerBooster with a capacity of 120 kWh and a performance of 100 kW is intended primarily for the hospital, including the paediatrics. Especially for the emergency facilities, a 24 hour power supply is a great blessing.
