by 11 February 2019.

ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2019 will take place in Düsseldorf from 12 to 14 March. Here the smart storage solutions of future energy systems can already be experienced today - our exhibitors show the whole range of the most innovative technologies!

Suppliers of stationary and mobile storage systems, as well as experts in the fields of power-2-gas, electric and hybrid drives will present themselves. These include market and technology leaders such as Siemens and MAN Energy Solutions, but also innovative medium-sized companies such as H-Tec Systems and the Swiss ecovolta, which together with the boat builder Ernesto Riva will present the fully electric wooden yacht E-Commuter in Düsseldorf.

Specialized Workshop: „Power-to-X“

This year's ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE Conference (ESE) and International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES) will examine the topic of Power-to-X from different angles:

Under the technical direction of Dr. Christopher Hebling, Head of Hydrogen Technologies Division at Fraunhofer ISE, the ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE Conference will tackle the topic of Power-to-X comprehensively and in all its aspects. As an introductory keynote on the ESE side, Gabriele Schmiedel, Vice President Hydrogen Solutions of Siemens AG, will give a presentation on "Power-to-X Applications and Energy Storage Solutions". With the title "A Comprehensive Valuation of Power to Gas Business Models in Canada", Kourosh Malek from the National Research Council Canada (NRC) will give an overview of Canadian power to gas business models. In addition to these topics, Dr. Markus Oles of Thyssen-Krupp will present the topic "Carbon2Chem: solutions for a cross industrial network" in the same session. It will show how renewable energy can be used to replace fossil fuels from one industry with process emissions from another.

The IRES session on this topic bears the sonorous name "Storage on the move". The keynote lecture "Power-to-X and sector coupling: setting the right legislative framework for 2030 technology pathways to meet the Paris climate goals in Germany" presents the current results of the exciting Copernicus project. Researchers can apply until 11 February 2019 via the IRES Call to present their project in the same session!

Visitors to the conferences will also have the opportunity to book their conference ticket at the Early Bird rate until 11 February. You can get to the ticket shop under
