ABSTRACT:
In industrialized countries, cars are not used for 95 % of the time. This gives a great opportunity for using the electric vehicle’s battery for the purpose of energy storage. Mobile storage can be used for different grid services like peak shaving, regulation services or spinning reserves.
The technology is ready, but the regulation and standardization does not fully cover this today. This lecture gives an outlook about possible solutions using mode 3 at home and mode 4 for commercial purpose.
