ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2017 – The Countdown is on

Only one week left until the trade fair ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2017 shows once again what undiscovered potentials energy storages and the electricity sector have to offer.

Over 200 international speakers and 160 exhibitors are pleased to welcome you in Düsseldorf.

You should not miss attending the expert conferences – the 6th edition of ESE Conference and the 11th IRES Conference – as well as several other side events covering the latest developments in regard to the entire topic of energy storage.

If you are particularly interested in the topic “Intersectoral Link”, you should definitely attend the Sessions 7 & 8 at the ESE Conference 2017.

Session 7 „The Flexible Intersectoral Link – How to Combine Electricity, Mobility and Heat/Cold“, moderated by Mr. Dr. Christopher Hebling, deals intensively with the linking of the sectors electricity, mobility and heat. The focus is on the opportunities which energy storages offer to a flexible and therefore intelligent sector coupling. Four presentations held by experts of the industry will illustrate concrete examples.

Session 8 „Energy Storage Scenarios – Do we Know Enough About the Future of Energy Storage?“, which will be led by Prof. Michael Sterner, focuses mainly on the role of power storage in future energy systems. The cross-sectoral concept and the herewith associated storage demand will be discussed in several studies.

In addition to that, exhibitors of the sectors of heat, gas, chemistry and mobility will be represented at the special show under the patronage of EnergieAgentur.NRW to visualize the topic.
